ABOUT SUMMIT OF THE SOUL

Hi, I’m Renae McDiarmid,  founder of Summit of the Soul and creator of the Summit of Self healing programs. My path into holistic well-being began not through textbooks, but through life itself.

After years of witnessing my mother silently battle misdiagnosed mental illness, the impacts of domestic violence, and self-medication through substance use, I became intimately aware of how deeply mental health affects our bodies, relationships, and sense of safety in the world.

Later, my son’s autism diagnosis opened a new chapter in my healing. I began exploring sensory and somatic processing, body-based regulation, and holistic approaches like diet, movement, and nervous system health. This personal journey led me into higher academic studies in psychology  but more importantly, it taught me that true healing doesn’t come from one method or one practitioner.

Healing is not linear. It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s deeply individual, just like our life experiences Through Summit of the Soul, I bring together a multidisciplinary, lived-experience, trauma informed approach. We explore the full spectrum of healing such as  mind, body, nervous system, gut, hormones, environment, and community. From somatic tools to biohacking, emotional mapping to spiritual grounding, we work together to find your path up the summit.

The Summit of Self program is about co-creating your roadmap and finding the tools you'll need in order to continue on through out your journey. Together, we identify what’s misaligned, find the tools and practices that support you, and connect you with the right professionals and modalities for each stage of your journey.

This is a climb toward optimal well-being, and no one climbs alone.

Let’s walk it,  step by step, tool by tool, until you reach your personal summit peak.
